Ingredients: makes 30 pieces
30 Spring roll wrappers
300 g Cheddar cheese
2 tablespoons Water
250 ml Oil
Method :
Steam the wrappers for about 2-3 minutes. Cut the cheese into 1 x 1 x 8 cm sticks. Brush the edges of each wrapper with water.
Wrap each cheese stick in a wrapper and press the edges of the wrapper to seal.
Heat the oil in wok. Fry the wrapped cheese sticks in hot oil in batches until golden brown. Remove from oil and drain on paper towels.
Serve hot.
Sauce: Combine mayonaise and tomato sauce/catsup.
