Beware: Motorbike modus operandi

BEWARE! To all the driver or driving a car. Don't ever pull over or get off the car if a motorbike hit the back of your car maybe it's just their style or "Modus Operandi" to steal your car or something from your car or belongings.

Be careful if suddenly someone riding in a motorbike hit the back of your car. I knew someone who was the victim of this kind of modus operandi in Centennial Road, Kawit, Cavite. It's because she was in a hurry and getting late to drop her kid to school so she just ignored it. But the man in the motorbike keep pointing that something happened to her car or wheel.  Your reaction is to ignore it or pay attention to it or get off the car to check it. When she pulled over and checked the car, the damage was just a minimal scratch  and the guy insisted to go to police station so he could pay the damage (it could be an alibi to distract her attention). The man attempted many times to convince her to go to police station but she refused to it's because it's just the minimal scratch and she's running late to drop her kid to school. Then her 7 year old daughter sitting at the front passenger seat told  her mother that the guy took her bag and immediately fled the scene.  Sad to say, in her bag was the sum of money to pay for her daughter year tuition fees and other important stuff.

When she went to the police station she found out that 5 of them were victims of the same modus operandi.

Lesson: If you are a driver, you should know the rules how to report the accident, you could just call the police, or just get the detail or report it later. Have a discerning mind in all situation or in short JUST BE AWARE. Please share if you are concern to remind others, this could happen anytime or anywhere.
